Tomorrow (June 1) people from all over the DelMarVa area will be attending the inaugural
Rehoboth Beach VegFest (Epworth United Methodist Church, 9285 Holland Glade Rd., Rehoboth Beach, DE). This outdoor festival features engaging speakers, cooking demonstrations, vegetarian food, exhibitors, a kids’ area, a cupcake eating contest (yum) and more. If you have been to the DC or Baltimore VegFest, you can expect something similar up in Rehoboth Beach.
Co-organized by Compassion Over Killing and VegRehoboth, the Rehoboth Beach VegFest aims to highlight the benefits of meat-free eating while empowering others to stand up for animals every time they sit down to eat. The first 300 attendees will receive free goodie bags full of veg-friendly coupons and samples! I can personally attest that these bags are well worth it!
